Girls are like Apples

So, one of my friends on facebook posted this little poem and I think it is very appropriate. It describes very well the situation between guys and girls. I just like it and I wanted to share it with everyone....

Girls are like
apples on trees. The best
ones are at the top of the tree.
The boys don't want to reach for
the good ones because they are afraid
of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they
just get the rotten apples from the ground
that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples
at the top think something is wrong with
them, when in reality, they're amazing.
They just have to wait for the right
boy to come along, the one
who's brave enough
to climb
all the way
to the top
of the tree.


And it makes half a tree...how cool is that!!!!

new year!

i know that it has been forever...im busy..ok?? anyway i think for the first time ever I am excited about starting a new semester. I know i must be sick or something, but there is just something about 14 hours - one class on wednesday and none on friday - that just kinda makes me a bit excited. of course the fact that this is my last semester of my bachelors degree means nothing to me...NOT!! I am so excited that it is not even funny!! anyway, point is i'm kinda glad its january and i am kinda glad i am in starkville in school! haha

so lets see, christmas break was pretty darn good. aside from just being a break I got to spend some time with the people I love most. I think the entire week of christmas we had an event every night. it was totally fine with me cause i got to make some awesome memories with family! on monday after christmas i spent all day at our camp cooking for all my friends. it was the annual "christmas at the camp" mini reunion. one of our closest friends who moved to alabama a couple of weeks after we graduated finally found her way back to hang out with us! we all had so much fun - i think everyone finally left at about 3 am haha i was worn out after it because I spent about 48 hours preparing/cooking/cleaning up for it, but it was worth it and it'll happen again next year unless something happens!

I also spent what other time i had over break reading. i haven't read a complete book since last christmas break so I decided that that is what I was going to do on my time off and i believe i did pretty well - 5 books in all. haha i was a geek and i know it!

ummm...i guess on to the good stuff. so i arrived back in starkville yesterday and it was flooding so i opted to only unload my laptop and to grab the mail. so i get this HUGE stack of mail out of the itty bitty tiny mailbox and run inside. on the top is a nice white envelope addressed to me from University Medical Center in jackson. I kinda had to just stare at it for a minute because i've been waiting for about a month to hear something from them. i was pretty anxious but i just tore into anyway ha it was a really long letter so immediately i thought - ok so if they were rejecting me the letter would have been really short so i must have made it to the next round! sure enough i finally read the first line which said that i got an interview!! EXCITED!!!!!!! i am not in yet but i am surely one step closer! the interview is just 2 weeks away so i am a little nervous but i guess i'll just go in and be myself! lol

well thats all thats been going on i think. i'll try to write more often this semester, after all i think i'll have more time!
